X Axis Label Hierarchy
Hey I have seen a lot of posts about this and it is still not working for me. I have a hierarchical structure in a clustered column chart. When I turn on "Drill Down" and select what I want to drill into all the x labels in the lower level include the label before.
I have turned off "Concatenate Labels in the x-axis and I am also sorting by the hierarchical structure.
Any help would be appreciated, I have the October 2019 version
Hi Anonymous ,
In your scenario, when you turn on drill-down mode , turn off "Concatenate labels" in the x-axis and click on a bar in the graph, the returned result is just like below.
If you would like the labels of red box above to disppear, then try to turn on the "Concatenate labels" in the x-axis.
Best Regards,
Amy

Hey Amy,
So this what I am trying to solve for essentially. The drill-down starts with Region then Manager. When I turn on drill down and click on a region it says "West Manager 1".
This is with concatenating labels turned off and then also with it on it does the same thing. Thank you for all your help v-xicai

Hi Anonymous ,
By my test in the latest version 2.74.5619.862 of Power BI Desktop, when try to click on the highlighted button to drill down, the "Concatenate Labels" option works well.

Yes, that also works for me. But if you turn on drill-down mode and click on a bar in the graph it is concatenating the labels
Is there a way to turn that off?
