Dears,
i've stored some images in my local disk and i've inserted in PBI but when it is displayed, it's not displayed worerctly (i don't know why)
Example of Image stored in my local disk:
but it is displayed
why it shows not the correct image as it is saved in my local disk.
Thanks
I had the same problem, the only solution I found was to redeem the images at 300px*300px, for some reason this made the full image visible, I'm using visual, image grib or simple image
Hello friend I have the same problem, I wanted to know if you could solve it
Hi @Zakaria_1980 ,
You will have to modify the size of the image to be displayed in the visual.
I see that you are using a table visual to display your image.
Select your table visual --> got to format paint icon --> Grid --> Image height
Also, if you want to display just image use some other visuals like Image Grid visual:

Thanks,
Pragati
still the same issue
In the end you managed to get the solution, the same thing is happening to me, the images of a url come out cut or incomplete
Hi @Zakaria_1980 ,
First thing try to post little bigger pictures as I am not able to see the SORT number on your images in the last post. May be it's my eyes 😛
I misunderstood your question. Do you want your images to be sorted in an order or you want them to be seen bigger?
Thanks,
Pragati
the initial pictures that i ve saved in my local disk are containing many colors per states, while when they are displayed in power bi, i seee only the upper side where i have the blue and grey colors only.
you can test the below pcture if you save it in your local disk and upload it under power then let me know how it will be displayed for you, if it's OK, send me the PBI report you used for that please.
Hi @Zakaria_1980 ,
When I am directly inserting this as an image, it shows me the completly picture as saved. See below:
I am using latest version of Power BI September 2020.
Thanks,
Pragati
please i'm not talking about simple insertion of the imge but through the URL Image. i've some projects for which they are linked to approriate image. therfeore, when i change from project to another, the pic should be changed and that's why i used the URL Image.
thanks for your support.
I have 2 questions.
1. How you plan to change the Project?
2. Where the link will be stored?
Hi,
please find below my feedback:
1. How you plan to change the Project?
through filter button
2. Where the link will be stored?
which link you are talking here. i have two tables, one for the projects and their data that i'm showing without problem and another table where i put the name of the project and its related image converted to 64base.
there is relationship bw the two tables.
br,
Try custom visual - image viewer.
you will need to store the link of that image in table instead of base64 format.
When I tried this it was useful with only 1 link at time.
Please check , test and then only deploy.
Note:- Do mark it as Accepted solution if it solve the issue.
Hi @Zakaria_1980 ,
I tried displaying the image using IMAGE GRID custom visual, I see a complete image. See below:
I hope the datatype is set to be IMAGE URL as well.
I also tried moving this image link to a table visual. I still see complete image.
Thanks,
Pragati
