Would like to automate the cloud health data https://apps.cloudhealthtech.com/login in Power BI

Hi All,

Need Community help on this.

We would like to use Cloud health data into Power BI in automation maethod. The data formats of cloud health available are PNG, CSV, send to Google drive. Please find the screenshot attached below.

2. Right now we are manually downloading the CSV file from Cloud health and then uploading the data into Power BI and creating a chart/Dashboard.  This process is completely manual steps which are time-consuming steps.

3. Initially, the plan was to use the Cloud API URL for automation, however, the data didn't come in the correct format, so we have thought to use an alternate way to power automated.

My questions are below

1. How we can use Cloud Health data into power BI ina an automation method?

2.  which method to use the data into PowerBI. ( CSV, SEND to Google Drive,)

3. Do we need to have a python script in order to have a power automated?

4. Please let me know to identify the best approach/ technology needed for the building automation pipeline (i.e. Power Automate).

You can contact me in the email below I can explain clearly stuff

    Hi pswain ,

You may choose the option "Send to Google drive", then use Web connector to get data of Google drive, see more details : Connect a Google Sheet spreadsheet to Power BI as a data source. In this way , it needn't to use gateway when publish to Power BI Service, and the data refresh synchronizes datasets and reports in Power BI Service with the underlying data in Google drive.

      Hi Amy,

Thank you for reaching out to this. The document which you have shared that was for Google sheet link ( that worked.) , however, when I tried in the same way for Google Drive ( procedure to get the web link to insert in Power Bi web connector ) It didn't work for me.  can you please share the docs or video where I can follow on this.

      Hi Amy,

Thanks so much for reaching out to me on this. I think I have completed 80 percent of my work. My question is below.

I am connected from the Google sheet to the PowerBI app. Is that Google URL below is a dynamic URL? I mean will we able to get dynamic data into PowerBI?

      https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H98iYAYcu4S4FshaLJ-eOOzVIGBtMA6SEI3TUHjo5ac/export?format=xlsx&id=1H98iYAYcu4S4FshaLJ-eOOzVIGBtMA6SEI3TUHjo5ac

How can we filter out in URL lets say if we want data for 6 months data, how can we customize this URL.?

I was expecting a Cloud Health URL in Power BI, but this is not...

      Kindly help on this.

Please reach out to me on this

    HI Prasanjit,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Im trying to do the same thing at the moment, but finding the resulting JSON file from the API doesnt structure well with PowerBI,

Curious if you got this to work in the end and how you went about doing so,

    Cheers,

    MItch
