Work Week continuous data vs. categorical Graphing issue

I'm trying to graph data from 2023 to 2024 using the work week in the format YYYYWW.  When the Workweek is continuous I can see 202354-202399 which don't exist.   When I change to categorical the data looks correct but I lose the capability to use my X and Y constant lines that are required for the visualization.  Is there a way to address the issue?

@ddave84 , There is a problem when you use numbers on a continuous Axis. It can go beyond the available limits. Better to use dates or Categorical Axis

Unfortunately, that is the requirement from the end user.  They want to see metric by YYYYWW with x-y content lines.  I have tried a few other things but nothing is working.
