Hi, I am new to Power BI so please help me.
I want to connect to an Oracle database from Power BI Desktop, retrieve data, and share reports I've created.
Power BI is only a reference to the database, is there no worry about writing data directly from Power BI to the database?
I would like to ask you a question because it would be a problem if the data on the database was unintentionally changed/written/deleted while creating/sharing reports.

Hello @Anonymous !
About writing back in the database, there is no button to do this. However, it is possible to use Power APPs/Power Automate or this trick (https://bielite.com/blog/write-back-to-sql-database-from-power-bi).
If I can give a council: create a user with permission just to read the database, and then use this user to connect in database.
