5 most widely used open-source BI tools right now are
Apache Superset – enterprise-scale dashboards SQL drivenMetabase – simple, user-friendly AnalyticsGrafana – real-time monitoring and time-series dashboards
Lightdash – dbt-native BI for modern data stacksEvidence.dev – code-first analytics with Markdown + SQL - Kiran-7312Helper IHi, Some of the most widely used open-source BI tools include Apache Superset, Metabase, Grafana, and Pentaho Community Edition. Each has its own strengths depending on the use case. For example, Apache Superset is great for interactive dashboards and SQL-based analytics, Metabase is beginner-friendly for self-service reporting, and Grafana is excellent for monitoring and time-series visualization. It would also be helpful to know your primary use case, such as business reporting, data visualization, real-time monitoring, or embedded analytics, so the community can recommend the most suitable tool.

Hi! powerbiexpert22
If we talk about open-source and enterprise adoption rate then:

One more platform worth adding to that conversation is Helical Insight. It takes a more unified approach by bringing interactive dashboards, self-service BI, AI-powered conversational analytics, pixel-perfect paginated reporting, embedding, SSO, white labeling, multi-tenancy, row-level security, scheduling and report bursting into a single platform. What makes it particularly interesting is its current open-source model: the Community Edition provides the same core functionality as the Enterprise Edition, with commercial support and branding being the primary differences. In other words, rather than feature-gating advanced capabilities, Helical Insight has made the complete feature set available free of licensing cost (unlike Superset, Metabase, LightDash which hide most of their enterprise features in paid cloud edition)..
