Why the what if parameter get rounded automatically?

The issue has been reported on support forum and  got this from power bi team:

This is currently by design, though we've been discussing a better experience when we're sampling data points.

Maybe you can try to change the date type to the whole number  if what you add to the parameter is all the whole number.
