Hi all,
I have the weirdest problem with one of my reports, hope for someone to give me a solution.
I have a period selection that contains a year slicer, a month and dates, it looks like this:
it's all good until I select specific dates in the dates slicer, like this:
from now on, no matter if I change the year slicer to 2022, the date slicer will remain stuck on the dates I picked before -
I want it to change according to the other slicer, if I'm selecting a new year I'm expecting to get only 2022's dates in the dates slicer
the only solution I have is to use the eraser icon to erase the date selection, but it's not a good solution, and the user experience is incomplete.
hope for your help!
@DanielS_Waves by default when we create slider slicer, other slicer do not impact on it.
I am not sure why it is set like this, but there is an easy fix.
Choose on toolbar "Format" and then "Edit interactions". Just click on all other slicers, one by one, and then select that it filters this slider slicer. By default no interaction is selected.
Cheers,
Nemanja Andic
Range slice doesn't reset based on values from other slicer.
There are several ideas in forum related to this.
Microsoft Idea - Default Selected Slicer or Tile-By Value Configuration
Microsoft Idea - Dynamic Date Slicer (improve relative date slicer)
These all are ideas and non of them are developed. Also, it's not a solution to my problem...
Thanks anyway for the response
