Why slicers don't work only for one table?

Hello everybody,

I want to ask you, why the slicers do work for all visuals except for table Contacts (all data from table are on visual)?

I have different slicers, and they work brilliantly, but I have problem with only one table Contacts.

Thank you in advance!

In general, the slicers are from tables on the one side of the relationship. (this is a recommended best practice)

You can filter from the many side using for example a measure as a filter for the target table:

Filter from contacts = COUNTROWS(RELATEDTABLE(Contacts))

You add this measure as a filter in the filter pane for the visual and set the value to greater or equal to 1, but it depends on what fields you are including in the visual. (and should only probably be used to filter a slicer anyway)

Hi @coskuersanli , the direction of relationship for Contacts is same as for e.g. Accounts, that is why I am confused

Hi @Anonymous

You should probably change direction of relationships. I may help if you send a sample file 🙂
