Why is my statistics button greyed out in Power Query?

I just want to get the average of this single column, but the statistics button is greyed out. Does not give me an error any explanation as to why. I could not find anything on Google either.

If you select two or more columns, the Statistics option will become available on the "Add Column" ribbon.  If you select two or more numeric columns, then all of the options on the Statistics menu will be available.

Thank you David, this is true. The ADD COLUMN / STATISTICS idea of this is to to some statistics on several columns aggregation (not just two)  : sum of all  columns, average of all etc... For instance if you select 3 columns you will get the median or the sum of three. This is the same for Power Query Online.
