Why does PowerBI not see my custom Azure AI model?

Hello,
I created custom Azure AI model what I would like to use in PowerBI.
When I open a dataset in PowerBI and after select the "Azure Machine learning" after the pop-up window is empty but I suppose it should contain automaticaly my custom model(s).
I followed the below articles:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/machine-learning/tutorial-designer-automobile-price-deploy
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-aml-integrate

Kind regards
Tom

Hi @Anonymous ,

please make sure you have read access to a Machine Learning Studio web service or Machine Learning service workspace.

Please refer to the following document.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/dataflows/dataflows-machine-learning-integration

Hi ,

you need to deploy your model in azure ML, go to model and select deploy.

@Anonymous I could be wrong but that link is related to dataflow, not Power BI desktop? Can you check and confirm? The OP is for Power BI desktop not for dataflow.

@Anonymous I think to use AI models in Power BI you need Power BI premium.

Hello Parry2k,

Thank you for you reply.

I assign the PowerBI premium per user license to that user which is logged in to the desktop PowerBI app but i got the same error message what I attacheddd before.

Further on, I followed this article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/dataflows/dataflows-machine-learning-integ...

and I gave read access to that user which is looged in the PowerBI dekstop app at the Azure AI workspace and the subscription resources as well.

But the window is still empty after 24 hours.

Do you have any further suggestion?

Kind regards

i know it has been a while since then, did you solve the problem?
