I have download the latest versions of both Power BI and DAX sudio, but still am unable to see the "External tools" ribbon and Dax studio within it...
I have seen some posts on this community, but that is not solving the problem.
Is there any solution avaliable for this?
sidebar :
Dax studio version : 2.17.3
Power BI : 2.107.683.0 64-bit (July, 2022)
Thanking in anticipation

@monojchakrab External tools will not appear until you install an external tool. It is possible that something failed when you installed DAX Studio and it was not able to copy the JSON file. You could do it manually like by copying this JSON to a file called daxstudio.pbitool.json in the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Power BI Desktop\External Tools
Thanks @Greg_Deckler.
Somehow, when I restarted the machine, it popped up automatically, without having to manually save the Dax studio JSON.
Appreciate
I was having issues with this, I found that it was because when I did the installation I was selecting "Install for me only". If you use "Install for all users (recommended)" you should be able to see the JSON created automatically (in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Power BI Desktop\External Tools).
If you look at the JSON file, Power BI should be installed in path: "C:\\Program Files\\DAX Studio\\DaxStudio.exe" (Folder: C:\Program Files\DAX Studio). Using “Install for me only” will install it in the path "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Programs\DAX Studio" and because of that, it is not going to work.
If you already installed it using "Install for me only" my recommendation is that you uninstall and reinstall it using the recommended option.
Excellent!!! So simple! few words and everything is sorted out!
I uninstalled the DAX Studio.
Installed again, choosing that option - Install for all users (recommended)
open Power BI again and the External Tools was there!!!
Thanks a lot for sharing!!! I really appreciate it!!!
