Hi,
I encountered a weird problem in power BI in which after I published the report, one value component of the barchart vanished.
Before the published in Desktop.
After the publish the dashboard and open in Chrome and notice the grey compenent is gone?

In PowerBI Service, does the field exist if you enable the Edit mode?
Are you having similar issues on other browsers?
If the problem persists, you may need to open a ticket with Microsoft to confirm if this is a known issue.

Why I need to change to tabular format and the stuffs you mentioned cannot be found in the browser nor BI desktop.

or republish -> Clear browser cache, and refresh. Change to tabular format and check values. Also check there is no parameter saved on service
