Why PBI desktop is not recognizing date type from a data model on server?

Hi,

I deployed my data model via Visual Sudio, and now I'm trying to created a date slider based on service date. Somehow, PBI desktop is not recognizing the data as date. I have modified the date format in data model before deployment, and PBI desktop does see the data as date in relatioship (shown in pic.1 & pic. 2). Please help me on this.

@Anonymous , Open Transform data and check for data type, You can try to detect data type or change manually to date and see does it show any error.

If not it should work fine as a date.
