Why Map visual does not display data for one voivodship (district?)

I have a problem, because it looks like the map doesn't recognize the Lubuskie voivoship: What can be the reason ?  I have the data type set to voivodship, county etc.   Thank You in advanc...

I use Cartogram visual. Tried it in another file and it still misses the Lubuskie voivodship. If for Lubuskie voivodship I use the english version: lubusz it works...

 

 

 

Different data so different regions but all are coloured

Hi Fistachpl 

 

It looks like an issue in Map visual. Can you help confirm if it is the Map visual I circled in red below? 

I'm using English version of PBI Desktop, the closest visual is "Filled Map" but I'm not sure if it is the "Cartogram visual" you mentioned. A visual may have different names in different languages, so I hope to get a confirmation about the type of the Map visual before reporting this issue. Thank you in advance. 

 

Additionally, in my latest testing, Azure Map can display all voivodships of Poland when using Filled Map mode. If you like it, you can take it as an alternative.

      Hi Fistachpl 

       

      I have got some feedback. 

       

      Map visuals use similar geocoding endpoints to match written language description to geographical entities. The (old) Bing Maps and (new) Azure Maps endpoints are little different. Since geocoding results could be different based on the culture of the current user, the geocoding queries also provide the users' current locale.  This could be the system's locale settings if using Desktop, or browser-specific locale settings if using the Service. Please ensure that the locale settings of the system + browser (if applicable) are supplying the "pl-PL" locale.

       

      Additionally, Power BI plans to deprecate older Bing map visuals and migrate existing reports to Azure Maps in a future release. Azure Map visual is more encouraged if it works better and fits your use case. In my test, the Azure Map visual won't miss any voivodeship of Poland.
