Why Is Group By so Difficult in Visualization?

    Hi danzrust,

     

    In Power BI Desktop, you should be able to how Power BI summarizes the data by selecting the Default Summarization icon to change how a field is summarized, including displaying a sum, a count, or an average. Then values will be grouped by default in visualization tables.

    Okay, I am retarded.

     

    For some reason tough, it is greyed out for me. I had to do it via summarizing metrics.

     

    Previously, I was just freaking out why a dimension cannot be summed up :)
