Which visual for tracking changes in time
Hello PBI community,
I need advise for choosing a visual. Every month I get data such as :
| CODE | STATUS |
| ALBE/001 | R1 |
| EUNI/034 | R2 |
| BUBA/382 | R1 |
All the data is compiled so I get a table in pbi such as :
| CODE | STATUS | DATE |
| ALBE/001 | R1 | 1/1/2020 |
| EUNI/034 | R2 | 1/1/2020 |
| BUBA/382 | R1 | 1/1/2020 |
| EUNI/034 | V2 | 1/2/2020 |
| BUBA/382 | R1 | 1/2/2020 |
| CAVE/098 | V1 | 1/2/2020 |
I would like to track the evolution of this list during 2020 and get a quick view on :
- how many new codes each month (codes that are in a list but not present in the previous month one)
- how many codes are no longer in the list (codes that were in the previous month list but not in the next one)
- how many codes changed status (with detail : how many codes changed from what to what status)
Any ideas on how to get some Sankey-like view on this?

AFra , for first refer the code of customer retention, same is needed
For thrid one get the max status of last month compare it with status of this month as code level
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
