I don't see the theme being used selected anywhere. Under Swutch Themes, you have a list of themes available. But how do we really know by sight which one is the current one?

when you import the theme file, this file will be imported into pbix file.and this list of Built-in report themes are also be updated in September 2018.
So you could try this way to see the theme being used:
save the pbix file and then rename the .pbix file to a .zip file, extract it to a local folder, and then check the file path Report\StaticResources\SharedResources
