Which is the correct License ?
Hey community,
I have a pro license where I can create and publish reports in the power BI service.
1: Now for someone to access this report for read only, do they require a license?
2: I have embedded a link in the sharepoint site. Now can the members who have access to the sharepoint site access the report that I had emebedded or for this they need a license?
Requirement is how to simply this process. I have the reports developed under a PRO license. I need to make this report available to all the people of my team through a sharepoint site. The other team members don't have a license. So what is the approach that I should follow?

Yes, that would work, but only if you go for a premium capacity and not the premium per user license.

1. if you create a report and publish report to Power BI Service Portal, your coworker need pro license to access this report, coworker with a free Power BI license can view a report that's hosted in Premium Capacity(P SKU)
2. For embed a report in sharepoint online, the following requirements need to be met:
- The Power BI web part for SharePoint Online requires Modern Pages
- To use an embedded report, users must sign in to the Power BI service to activate their Power BI license.
- To embed a web part in SharePoint Online, you need a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license.
- Users with a free Power BI license can view a report that's hosted in Power BI Premium capacity (EM or P SKU).

For your peers to be able to see the Power BI report content, they need to have a Pro license.

With Power BI Pro, you can use all sharing methods except Power BI Embedded (which comes through different licensing options). You can use Simple Sharing, Workspaces, Power BI Apps, and Embed in SharePoint Online. If you have a Power BI Pro license, you can share the reports internally or externally (if allowed by the Power BI Administrator). However, if you share a report with someone else, they must also have a paid Power BI license to view the reports. If you have a pro license and share a report with a free user, they cannot see it unless they upgrade to the pro user or premium per user."

If a report is published in a premium capacity workspace, can then the people with free license able to view the report?
