Helper IIIWhere the Data base username & credentials get stored?
Hi Team,
I'm using power bi desktop and live connection to develop a report/dashboard.
I'm curious to know where the data base credentials like user name & password get stored.

Not sure if this is still accurate, but here goes:
Are local credentials or passwords stored in the Power BI Desktop file? - SQLGene Training

Those information is stored in the pbix files, you can what are include in the pbix if you open with zip. And for Power Bi service, they are stored in the dataset after you publish pbix from desktop.Paul Zheng _ Community Support Team
