Hello community,
I have just started with Power BI
Could anyone help me and give a hint on how and where PBI saves and stores all the queires which were created?
I mean after the button ClOSE & APPLY is clicked in the Power Query Editorand it saves all the changes made with the data set.
Just read the PBIX file should have been created after this
How can i locate it and open next time (if it disappers from the Queries pane on the left side of the editr for example)
Thank you
If you've just created a new PowerBI file, but haven't saved it, then the query hasn't really been saved anywhere. I'm not sure if there's a default folder, but if you've saved other .pbix files, then it should default to save there. The query itself if saved with the pbix. If you close Power Query but need to see the queries, you can access it again through Home Ribbon > Queries > Transform Data.
Thank you very much Vicky
