I'm creating a map of Korea using latitude and longitude using an existing map object, but it says that the service for that object is scheduled to end.
If anyone knows exactly when the service will end, please let me know.
Since the map object is gone, I'm trying to display about 30,000 latitudes and longitudes using HTML Content. Do you have any tips regarding speed?

Hii @ericjo
Microsoft has deprecated the old Map visual. The official retirement announcement was June 30, 2025, and there is no new extended date or updated timeline published. Until Microsoft removes it in a future Power BI update, the visual continues to work but should be considered unsupported.

Hi @ericjo ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
Just wanted to check if the information shared regarding the Map visual retirement and the suggested alternatives helped address your question.
If you need any further clarification or would like guidance on the options mentioned, please let us know. Thank you.
Hello @ericjo ,
Microsoft didn't mention an exact date, it mentioned the following and as they mentioned you can use azure maps.
" To ensure a seamless experience and stay ahead of upcoming Microsoft’s plan to retire Bing Maps for Enterprise, Power BI is proactively transitioning from Bing Maps to Azure Maps. By making this change early, Power BI users will benefit from enhanced mapping capabilities and long-term support. We encourage customers to begin updating their reports to Azure Maps visuals to stay future ready. "

Azure Maps isn't supported in Korea, so it's a bit tricky to use.
If I were to use latitude and longitude, what object would you recommend? If possible, a free object would be ideal.
Hii @ericjo
Azure Maps isn’t supported in Korea, the best free alternatives are the built-in Bubble Map (lat/long) and the Icon Map custom visual. Both support latitude and longitude globally without Azure Maps.
@ericjo ,
check the shape map then.
