I have set up a line and stacked column chart visual in my power BI report using Mass for my X value and date on my y axis.
I have set up my slicer so that it will only show dates from 2014 and onwards.
I have set up a measure with a flat value of 130 where I want to be the line chart so it is static and the column chart is the mass so I can see if the mass is hitting this 130 measure target value.
When I set up the graph though it shows ALL values from 1991 onwards even though my slicer is set up to foilter and show dates only from 2014 onwards. Appears my date slicer is only filtering the mass values on the column y axis and the target measure I have set up is not getting filtered for some reason. How can I have it so I ensure the entire graph (the line chart with the measure I have set up with a flat 130 value) is filtered and not just the column part of the visual?
Just tried to recap on my data.
It works properly for me with a constant value.
Do you have proper relationship between DimDateTable and FactTable?
