Im trying to follow the instruction as to how I can combine 16 worksheets into one. One of the instructions tells me to remove these three columns (in green) then I receive the screenshot message. I've been removing columns previous to this over the years but have never received the above message. Any suggestions?

Hi @Fedup,
You have clicked on Source in Applied Steps abd then tried to remove. This prompt warns you that the subsequent steps (In your case, Navigation, Promoted Headers and Changed Type) will get affected since those steps MIGHT have already used those columns.
You can do eitehr of the below 2:
1. Click to last applied step (Changed Type) and then remove the columns
2. Click on insert when prompted and then adjust/modify other steps depending on the removed columns

You are creating a step that will be insterted between the first and the last existing ones
This message is just a way to make sure you are aware of this, you can ignore it (click OK) if that is really what you want to do
Otherwise stay on the last step and create the step from there and the message will not appear
PS this behaviour is there since 2012
Best
If this helped, please consider giving kudos and mark as a solution
