What we need to do for SUMMARIZE in Direct Query

Hi everyone,

Understood there are many limitation in Direct Query. And also I find it impossible but I guess I encourage my self to post this question ->

How can we achieve SUMMARIZE without the loose of full Direct Query mode ? is there a workaround ?

Thanks,

Hi @amitchandak

Thank you very much. Just what I need, never knew it before.

I want to use it to create some lookup table (master table) from my FactTable.  Just now in Power Query, I put the reference and use Group by, and it works and even the "aggregated table" still consider as a "Direct Query"

Many thanks,
