We use Salesforce to connect to Power BI. We wanted to reset the password of Salesforce now. The impact report shows that 100-150 datasets are affected. If the credentials changes, do I need to go to datasource setting of each report to fix it?

Hi @Kolumam ,
Can you open the .pbix file and refresh it normally when the password of the data source credential is changed?
Similarly, can you refresh the dataset in the Service?
If you can , then there is no need to update the data source credentials in Power BI.
But in theory, Power BI will ask you to update your credential.
This may also be related to the verification method.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen

But the last time I changed the password, it never prompted me to change the credentials. So I am confused.
