I made the convas background color = read and the wallpapper color = green, please see below. I do not understand what is the green area is used for? I can not move any visual in that area, then why the wallpaper is not the same as convas background area? Thank you so much.
Thanks for your reply. I do not understand why we have that small area (the green area in my first screenshot). Why we have that when I can not move any visual(s), image, textbox etc there. Technically both wallpaper and canvas are the same (in term of real estate point of view) if we can not use that geen area. If that is the case then why we have both of them? Thank you again.

The scope of their work is different. Wallpaper is larger than canvas background (In other words, wallpaper could contain canvas background). Wallpaper works on the display area(the red one) and canvas background works on visual area(the black one).
You could set transparency to dispaly them at the same time.
