What is the best way for collecting data using REST API?

I have data that is only accessible using REST APIs, so I want to know what is the best way to import that data into Power BI:

1) calling APIs directly from Power BI(for this solution there is a problem because API response have limited number of rows that it can return, so I will need to call this API in loop)

2) creating Python script in which I would make this API calls, and than importing data using that script as data source

3) importing data in database first, and than use that database as source

or some other solution?

@NenadV #1 will work but lot more depend on your API provider, what kind of rate limit they have on their APIs, most there is pagination and also delay in making API calls, following posts touches both the area and solutions.
