What is the behaviour of Power BI engine when synchronizing filters

I am connecting my PBI report to an SSAS tabular model using Live connections.

I have 3 pages in each page I have mainly the same filters.

I am synchronizing them, If I select a filter from the page 1 and switch to page 2 it remains the same as the selected value in the first page.

I want to understand how the engine behave in this case?

If I select the filter in the page 1 does it apply the same filter in the second page in the background?

Or it keeps the selection in memory and when jumping to the second page it does the data refresh?

Synchronizing filters between pages can represent data performance issues ?

@amirabedhiafi , It applies when you open the page 2.

I have done this test on Direct query and check what queries it fires when you do sync slicer
