What is the LuciaIndex? (Power BI AppData Folder taking up 17.5 GB)

I wonder why there isn't an automatic archive/deletion of these files? Just discovered it's been hoarding half of my disk space

Thanks  - I'd found that thread.  Just, wasn't sure it was the same since:

• That refers to Lucia Cache (which I'd already cleared, based on that thread), but this is Lucia Index
• The interface to clear the Lucia Cache from within Power BI - doesn't seem to affect the Lucia Index.

Anyway - I manually deleted all those folders, and nothing seems to have exploded.

Any updates here . Shall we delete the LuciaIndex folder? it is taking 10GB of space for me.

Bit late to reply...but since people seem to still be finding this thread; 

Deleting the Lucia Index folders never caused any issues for me at least.
