  • Hi mmh9119 -

    Please find the details below:

    Placement Category--> Groups

    Groups--> Data groups allow you to create custom groups within your dataset

    State& Country--> Calculated Columns

    Calculated Columns-- calculated columns are used to add new data to your existing data model by creating a column with values calculated based on other columns. Calculated columns are useful when you need to add derived data that you can use in your reports and visualizations.

    Thanks rajendraongole1 for the reply!

    I'm still trying to work some things out. I was experimenting with date tables and came up with the following. In the below example, the Date icon for "Fiscal Year Table" and "Fiscal Year TableX" are different, though I don't think I did anything different when trying to replicate the former. Could you explain why the icons might be different? Thanks.

      Marking a table as a Date table in Power BI is essential for ensuring that time intelligence functions work correctly. A Date table typically contains a range of dates and additional date-related columns, such as year, quarter, month, day, etc
