I am working on a report that needs to show something similar to the below which I was provided from the PM. It is a pipeline of projects that shows their various statuses... funded, active, and in which subsequent gate phase projects are currently in, etc.. Any ideas what type of visualization would best work for this?
what will your data look like to populate the visual?

My data source is an Excel file on which each row is an indivial project, and there are columns that the "phase" I need to bucket in this visual accordingly. It's still being determined if they will just directly state the phase, or if it will proivde dates on which each project reached each phase in separate column, that I would then just need to convert to a count.
ok understood, thing is in power bi you need data points for what you want to see, without seeing what your data looks like its difficult to know what you need, so you have listed the processes, but what does that look like with data in it?
some sample data with an example of what you expecting will provide the necessarily clarifyication to give the correct solution.
