What The Formula Forecasting in Power BI Line Chart?

I use forecasting with line charts in power bi. However, I did not find formulas or algorithms that were suitable for forecasting in power bi

I really need it for college assignments

Click the line chart, then click Analytics pane, you can see the forecast option.
