What If Analysis - Demand Change on Specific Product

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to do a more refined What If analysis in Power BI.  Currently, when I set up a parameter and measure, it shows the impact to all products in my dataset.  What I would like to do is show how a change in the demand for one or more specific products impact the overall demand (for all products).  It would seem to me that it would require a slightly sophisticated IF/THEN statement, but I am perplexed on how it would work.  I've been using this video as a reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol-d1T04vvc.

How you would define which products need to be effected or not effected by what if parameter?

Yes you surely need to use IF condition to include/exclude products which will not have impact of what if calculation. Share sample data if you need more assistance.

Sure thing.  What I'd like to do is see what would be the impact if demand for x and y services were to decrease by z%, how would impact the overall demand for our services.  Don't know if it would be possible, but it would be great to be able to select which products would have the parameter applied to it from a list.  So essentially it would be for service x and y decreased hours by z%, for all others keep demand constant.

Not sure if that helps provide clarity on it.
