Week Commencing Date / Pivot Issues
Hello!
I am hoping someone could help me. I am in the process of producing a histogram. My excel spreadsheet has some text columns, and then date columns.
I have pivot'd the date columns.
Then I did some DAX so I could have a 'Week Commencing Date" so that my histograms showed the number of people we required that week as oppose to daily. I also added a filter so it only came back with head count for their working days.
However, because I pivot'd the data.... it is not producing the right head count.
For example I know the number is 7 people for that week and they are working 4 days that week, but PowerBi is coming back as 28 because of the pivot. Is there something I can add, an additional measure?
It's annoying because there is no manhours under the date column pivot'd because the company is not working in manhours only in days. Would it be best adding in a column with the working hours for each day? and if so how would I be best going about it, as I can't enter it into the source data?

Hi ElaineGordon83 ,
It's hard to understand your problem just by imagine.
See if you can provide some sample data and the results you expect
