Web link via Text non-responsive when published
Hi,
Have created a Text box, add some text, selected text and added a URL hyperlink. In this case the URL to another PowerBI report, like:
https://app.powerbi.com/Redirect?action=OpenApp&appId=XXXX&ctid=XXX
Have also tried with shortened version:
Both links work when pasted into a new browser window.
In both cases, when published to Workspace (and also when further published to App) the Text displays as a Web link (underlined and blue), with correct cursor change when mouse-over. But nothing happens when clicking the link... No new page, no new tab etc.
Any good ideas?
The problem was the order of items in the report. There was a shape that covered the text, which was transparent.
Solved by moving the text box to the front... Now links to another report, which pops-up in a new tab.
