Web URL Not working on Power BI Service

Hi Team,

 

Please help this issue. I have a sharepoint link (URL) column in my excel and update the column "Data Category to Web URL" It is working fine in Power BI Desktop ( when I click the link icon, it is taking me to the sharepoint folder), However, after publishing to the Power BI Service it is not working. showing "HTTP 404" error and showing "The webpage cannot be found"

    I cannot reproduce the issue. Check URL in the address bar and try different browsers.

      Link is not working, when I change the URL to show icon (URL Icon from format settings). however it is working when I keep the URL as is. is there any issue ? v-chuncz-msft

    In power bi Desktop, desigend URL is working where as Power bi service it is just taking me to base url of the created link

    For example.

    1. designed url using dax - data type - web URL - https://baseurl-example.com/account/identfier=101

    this is working in desktop and go to portal and opens the job but

    when i publish this in power bi report server, clicked the link, it is only taking to https://baseurl-example.com to login evertime, even logged in , it is only home page.

    Any idea how to resolve this.
