Web Scraping PowerBi

Hello everyone,

My boss wants me to extract the data from another report. We only have your link and your web view.

Is it possible to do a web scraping of a previously published PowerBi report? If yes, how?

I deeply appreciate your help 🙂

Hi @mikael-santos,

Currently it is not supported in power bi.

Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products.

Best Regards,

Hi @mikael-santos ,

If you have access to the published report dataset you can use the same dataset for creating your report.

Please accept this as a solution if your question has been answered !!

Appreciate a Kudos 😀

I do not have access or permission in this regard. just the link.
