Web Data Sources connection problem

Hello everyone!

I have an issue on Power BI desktop. I can't connect to web data sources. I tried to do the UEFA European Football example (see https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-tutorial-importing-and-analyzing-data-from-a-web-page) with data from wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_European_Football_Championship) but is impposible to query the data from this source. The software freezes at "Please wait while we establish a connection to..." and connection time is exeeded. This only happens with web sources. I tried the following possible solutions but none of these work:

-Network issues: I tried the connections from the network at my job, but my coworkers don't have problems.

-HTTPS: I tried http instead https.

-Sign out and Sign in

-Restart PC

I can't reinstall the software 'cause I don't have administrator permission. Any other suggestions?

By the way, I have a 64-bit version in a 64-bit PC with 32-bit Office

I just tried this and it worked. You can try going into your data sources, File | Options | Data source settings and clearing the permissions. Then try reconnecting and using Anonymous permissions, that's what I used.

I am on the April release of the Desktop, 64-bit, English language.

I just tested. And it works properly. Can you access the web page in your browser?

Please update your Power BI Desktop in to latest version and try again.

        Regards,
