Web.Contents Error

I've looked this issue up several times but have not found a solution that addressed my problem. I have a desktop Power Bi that is connected to several Smartsheet sheets and reports. I've had this running on auto-refresh for six months with no issue. Just today, I started receiving the following error that I cannot resolve. Any help?

Data source error: DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://api.smartsheet.com/2.0/home' (500): Internal Server Error. Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ErrorCode = 10117. DataSourceKind = Smartsheet. DataSourcePath = Smartsheet. Url = https://api.smartsheet.com/2.0/home. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: Name of Table.

Hello, please see the below thread on Smartsheet Community.

This is linked to an API deprecation that has crashed the Smartsheet Power Query connector

Same issue here, starting last week.  We have tried to flush the credentials inside PowerBi, as well as the app credentials inside Smartsheet since it uses keys from that area vs the API user key.  Nothing has helped so far, and its sporadic as many users are not impacted.

HI @Anonymous,

I suppose you may need to invoke login API to get the access token for other type REST API usages. You can also take a look at the official document to know more about these:
