We cannot convert the value null to type Record
I have a PBI report/dataset published online from the desktop app however for a few days it keeps coming up with this error on the scheduled refresh:
What doesn't make sense to me is that if I refresh the data on the desktop app it works without error and if I publish it again the online report and data also update just fine but the scheduled/manual refresh on the web portal keeps coming back with this error and I am unable to troubleshoot it.
This is Azure billing data and about 3gb worth of it so it is a lot and I am not sure how to find out the troubled record so I can exclude it.
Any ideas?

This has been confirmed as a bug that needs fixing in the backend:
In regarding to this we have checked internally and found that there is known issue which was identified by our product team and our product provided an update that the issue with SLA by End of this Week and as of now we are not having any ETA.I am currently facing an issue related to the Salesforce reports and the Power BI service account.
We have a service account configured for the Power BI gateway, and the dataset refresh is managed through this account. I have recently incorporated some Salesforce reports into a Power BI , and while I have access to these reports through my personal ID, I’m encountering issues after publishing the report to the Power BI Service. When attempting to refresh the dataset, the refresh fails with an error stating that the Salesforce reports cannot be found. I suspect this is because the service account used by the gateway does not have access to the required Salesforce reports, while my personal ID does.
What would be the recommended way to configure this correctly so that the dataset can refresh without issues?

Yeah found that too but not much help since I am not sure where the null is because the error does not show up on the desktop app, only power BI web 😞
Having the exact same problem, started 9 January without having med any changes to the report or data connection.
