Hi Community, I need help with this waterfall issue I am having:
I want to build a Waterfall chart using percentages between a period of time; in this case ‘years’. This total percentage represents a full category. I drag the measure to the Y axis. I include the years to the category field, but the problem is when I want to complete the split field. The thing is that the total percentage that represents a full category, has subcategories insides, but instead of representing each one a little part of the total number, the sum of the subcategories does not represent the total number. The logic that I have generates the difference of each category one year versus the other, so that generates other bar that is not true.
In the example the total difference between 2018 and 2019 is only 1,2%. The sum of all categories is 3,2% and appears an “Other” of 2,0% that is false.
In excel we do this Waterfall chart, but we include more series that represent, the base, the increases and decreases that are part of the variance. We need to simulate the next chart:
Thanks in advance!

If you may try to use ALLSELECTED instead of ALL in your BMI%.
If not your case, please share a simple sample pbix file and your expected output.
Regards,
Lin
Sorry @v-lili6-msft I can't find the way to attach here a pbix and a xlsx, is this possible?
