Waterfall Chart - Sorting by Breakdown

Dear All,

I've been looking for a solution to sort my Waterfall chart by breakdown instead of size. The idea is to give to management clear view on the variations between diferent periods, but the order for those KPIs should not change for comparison reasons.

I went thru many topics open in the Community, however I did not find any solution for this. I am currently using version 2.70.5494.761 (June 2019).

Please find below an example.

Thank you in advance.

Guilherme

I created the idea at https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=a950946a-b7ca-ee11-92bd-000d3ad9d8ca please vote and add your comments there.

Thanks for sharing this! I am looking for the same feature. I don't understand why Microsoft sometimes skips to add a feature like this one, when it would be so easy for them to sort breakdown like all the other sorting options.

Hello MilkTea, thanks for the link but it is not what I am looking for. In my case I cannot sort columns because I have repeated indicators which will not work even applying index.

Well, I dont think Waterfall chart has this option. So the solution is to create a stacked column chart using ups and downs formula.

Thank you.

Rgds,

Guilherme

Hi @Guilherme_BI

I had similar situation. Please can you let me know how you created a stacked column chart using ups and downs formula? I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
