Waterfall Chart - Show differences between years but re-baseline after every year
Dear all,
I have an issue I am struffeling to find a solution.
My data looks something like this:
I have a starting value for 2021, in 2022 there are measures added which result in a base value for the following year.
The problem is that I end up with this in the waterfall chart:
Also if I keep the base value constant at 80, this only helps slightly (even though the first step from 2021 to 2022 seems to be fine):
I understand that the problem is that the difference calculation worlks on the category-level. But I do not have categories, every small up/down bar is an individual commercial measure with a different name. I need some sort of re-baslining every year in order for only new measures in the respective year show up once (only in that single year).
Another visual will not be accepted by the users 😞
Any help how to solve this wound be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Markus
