Waterfall Chart - Ratio (Divide By) Measure Total Issue

Hello,

I have a Ratio measure that is a division of a Measure on another Measure on my PowerBI Model. This is the measure :

AmountPerOrder= DIVIDE([Amount], [TotalOrders])

I am trying to display this measure on a Waterfall chart across Regions using a Region column. The problem here is that, the Total AmountPerOrder displayed at the end doesn't really equal the original Total AmountPerOrder but it is actually a summation of the AmountPerOrder across every region.

The Original AmountPerOrder in this case is 69.24. As you can see on the snip above, 412.92 is not the actual AmountPerOrder but its just the summation of Region1 to Region6.

If I were to use the same fields on a Matrix or a Table visual, I get this as the Total which is correct :

How do I accomplish and arrive at this same total on a Waterfall chart? I couldn't figure out a way to fix this on the Waterfall visual properties itself so is there a way to fix this on the way the measure is being calculated? Please let me know if you any additional details!

Hi, @Koushikrish ;

This is by design. The total value of the waterfall chart is based on the previous sum and cannot be changed, but can be cancelled. Perhaps you can add another column as total and cancel the total column;
or  you may vote the idea and comment there to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Thanks for the reply. I tried this earlier but it didn't help. It is kinda the opposite of the issue am facing so I was thinking thats why the SUMX row wise calculation didn't work out.
