Hi, @Na12

As mentioned by @Anonymous ,it doesn't  support that  export data of matrix visual in matrix form.

There is a same feature request posted in Power BI Idea forum, you can vote and comment on it: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual.

As a workaround, you can try to create a PowerPivot table in Excel. Or you can use PowerBI Tiles add-in in the Excel to get matrix visual. See: Integrating Power BI Tiles into Office documents.

Do you know if this has been implemented? I have a client that will not move forward with Power BI until this can happen.

@Na12 , Export option is data export , so I doubt you can get the same format.

Refer if this option can help

No, I just only want to export a matrix not a dataset or something like this.

@Na12 You wouldn't get the same view of matrix what you see in Power BI.

However probably you can create the same view after exporting to excel
