Good day all.

New to Power Bi and this community. I have now spent several days searching on forums and you tube before I decided to look like a noob on here. But my time is running out.

I have a relitive small data set that I am pulling from an API. The data set use to load without any issues until I made some changes in Power Quiery. I have to note that I might not be using best practice, as I am still learning.

I will add screenshots as I go along.

So basicly I am pulling the information from our Cloud Quoting system and putting together reports for us to use.

Data is imported via the web with 2 unique headers added to the request to authenticate me. Thus credentials are Type: Anonymous.

This standard data set used to load very quick without any issues. Then I made some changes. In this data set all the standard info regarding the quotes was present but not the detiald information. This has to be extracted for every QUOTE ID. So I added a custom Coloum to retreive those records. And then things slowed down. Everytime I want to apply my changes the requests times out.

The dataset is only 5000 rows and 42 columns.This is the column that was added. I still want to expand it to get all the information in the record to display also.It then runs like this for about 10 min before going over to waiting for website

Thank you for the feedback @amitchandak. This I have changed the settings and still no luck. I have looked at my Anitvirus and Firewall settings and all is in order over there.

Every now and then is will change to sal 'x' number of rows loaded and then back to 'waiting for ...' So it seems like is is loading but it is taking hours. I have checked my internet connection and all is fine.

It just seems like the one custome colume that I have added is making the loading time so much longer.
Dont understan it.
