WEB data decimal formats

Hi guys,

I am scubbing a web page for data and the values are quiet big.

The figure $175,244,830,137, is brought into PBI as $175.24 B.

I presume the B is for billion.

Any idea why and how   I can get  it to use the original value?

    Is the data actually stored like that, or is it just how the visual you're seeing the result in is formatted?

    Hi IanCockcroft ,

    By my tests, I cannot reproduce your scenario when load data from web in power bi.

    Do you have this issue for loading data or creating the visuals?

    In addition, will you have this issue if you get data from the local excel ?

      Hi guys, thanks for having a look.

      the site is coinmarketcap.com

      They do  have an API which I am trying to connect to, so I have abandoned this effort.

        By my tests with the web site, I could reproduce your issue.

        I'm afraid that issue should be caused by the API.
