## Volume bins and totals

There is an existing dashboard with volume bins, total volume and number of individuals.

As per request, I am trying to make a new column with the totals per volume bin, see colum 'Total per bin'. Im not sure how to achieve this.. It's not the running total/cumulated of the previous rows and current row. I have made an example to explain this better.

In the example below, the total for bin '0-10' would be the volume for bin '0-10' (so 33), plus the number of individuals in the sequential bins (13) times the upper border of the bin (10).

For volume bin '10-25', I would do the following: 88 + ((1+7) * 25).

88 is the volume of the bin itself.

1+7 it the number of individuals that have surpassed the bin

Multiply the upper border of the bin: 25

M_n_indivisual ALL = CALCULATE(SUM('DATA'[n_indivisual]),ALL(DATA))

M_Running Total = CALCULATE(SUM('DATA'[n_indivisual]),

FILTER(ALL('DATA'),'DATA'[upper border]<=MAX('DATA'[upper border])))

M_Total per bin = SUM('DATA'[total_volume])
+MAX('DATA'[upper border])*([M_n_indivisual ALL]-[M_Running Total])

Step 2: I make a matrix below.
