Vlook Up function in Power BI
Hi everyone,
I would like to ask for your help. I would like to get the # of OPT OUT and NEW internet subscribers per month. I have a ONE fact table for this. Below is the logic:
Formula:
For Opt Out Subscribers, if distinct subscribers for previous month is not available for the current month then display the opt out number.
For New Subscribers, if distinct subscribers are not available for the previous month but available for the current month then display the new subscribers.
Example:

| 11/1/2023 | 001 |
| 11/1/2023 | 002 |
| 11/1/2023 | 003 |
| 11/1/2023 | 004 |
| 11/1/2023 | 005 |
| 12/1/2023 | 001 |
| 12/1/2023 | 002 |
| 12/1/2023 | 003 |
| 12/1/2023 | 006 |
| 12/1/2023 | 007 |
| # of Subscribers | Subscriber Accounts | |
| # Opt Out Subscribers for November 2023 | 2 | 004 005 |
| # of New Subscribers for December 2023 | 2 | 006 007 |

In the attached PBI file, you can study the solution of churned customers (opt out customer). Once this works fine, let me know and i will share the measure for new customers as well.

Thank you for your prompt response. But unfortunately, i cannot open the pbix as it requires updated version of pbix. Downloading softwares are not allowded at the moment in our workplace. Is it possible to provide the step by step on how u come up with this churned customers pbix?

You are welcome. Update the software on your Home computer and then access the file.
